Steady Waters

Writer: Vania FarrukhVania Farrukh

My ISM progress has been slowed down, while many aspects and activities in my life have been put on hold in the last few weeks. Even though I am not sure what I would like to do for my final projects, I have been working to advance my research to increase my understanding. In order to make ISM more approachable to a wider range of people—including students and enthusiasts who are looking for a less formal research approach—I am trying to incorporate creativity.

My goal is to close the communication gap that exists between the academic terminology used in a field as opposed to the general public by using innovative and understandable methods to dissect difficult ideas like autopsies. In order to effectively engage audiences, I am investigating a variety of platforms and methods, such as interactive webpages and multimedia platforms.

Even though it is still difficult to define this project's scope, I see these unpredictable outcomes as a chance for innovation beyond my usual work, and onto a larger playing field. In order to accommodate a more extensive range of learning styles and skill levels, I am committed to ensuring inclusivity and accessibility between a variety of individuals with their own differing backgrounds to produce a valuable product.
