As a part of the ISM program, we are given the opportunity to choose and work with a mentor in our given fields. During the process of going through different interviews, I got the opportunity to meet with Dr. Herndon at UT Southwestern's Forensic Department. He agreed to be my mentor, and this year I will continue to learn under him to get the most amount of knowledge about this field.
